y Naidoo UKZN, Dr Naidoo is currently a Senior Lecturer and Academic Leader of Cellular Biology in the School of Life Sciences. Her field of expertise ranges from plant secretory biology to the properties of medicinal plants.
In addition, Dr Naidoo is also involved in ecophysiological research of halophytic plants. To date Dr Naidoo has published approximately 38 full length papers in peer reviewed journals. She is extremely knowledgeable in the field of microscopy which is considered to be a scarce skill.
Dr Naidoo’s research team consists of 4 NRF-DST interns, honours, 5 masters and 4 Phd students as well as 1 international postdoctoral student.
