Graduates from the Faculty of Engineering and the Built Environment earn a world-class degree, which opens doors to a full spectrum of career opportunities. This enables graduates to rapidly gain leadership positions and make major contributions in their chosen fields.
All our undergraduate programmes lead to internationally recognised professional qualifications, which are accredited both nationally and internationally. All emphasise design skills, entrepreneurship and project management.
The faculty comprises six departments: Architecture, Planning and Geomatics; Chemical Engineering; Civil Engineering; Construction Economics & Management; Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.
