​​​STUDENT ASSISTANT VACANCY: INSTITUTIONAL OFFICE HIV & AIDS 
(4 Vacancy Available: DFC, APB, APK, SWC) ​​
Applications close on the 31st October 2013 
Requirements: 
3rd year student doing 1 subject or B.tech student having registered or intending to register with UJ attending evening classes or doing 1 subject/ 2 modules. 
Basic knowledge of office administration and computer literate. ​
Basic knowledge of HIV/AIDS facts (LINK member preferable). 
Students with a criminal record or discipline record will not be considered. 
Job description ​
The purpose of the position of Student Assistant is to provide administrative support to the HIV co-ordinator. The incumbent will be responsible for the following: 
To assist the office with administrative and telephone duties. 
To ensure effective and efficient record keeping. 
To initiate and implement administrative systems in accordance with University policies and procedures. 
To explain IOHA programs, training and services to students. 
To prepare documentation, venues and equipment for training, events and meetings.
