The National Benchmark Test can only be written at the nominated venues throughout the year.

Please ensure that you book your NBT test early as places are limited at the venues.  No application will be reviewed without having received the NBT results.

You must pay the testing fee as soon as you have registered and received your unique EasyPay number.

The testing fee is R90 to write the AQL. The testing fee is not refundable.

Test Paper Requirements

EMBA: Academic Literacy and Quantitative Literacy (3 hours) – AQL only

PGDip: RPL Applicants ONLY. Academic Literacy and Quantitative Literacy (3 hours) – AQL only

The National Benchmark Test scores must be received by the School before closing date.  Scoring of the NBT takes approximately 4 weeks

How do I pay?

All NBT fees must be paid through EasyPay. Take your NBT registration letter with you to an EasyPay Paypoint near you to pay. You may also pay on the EasyPay website and then print out your receipt. You must show both letter and receipt before being allowed to write the tests.

EasyPay Paypoints are found across South Africa at food stores including Pick ‘n Pay, Shoprite, Checkers, and Spar, as well as many other merchant sites.

HOW TO OBTAIN YOUR RESULTS:

Your results will not be sent to you via email. They are made available to you on your NBT account approximately four weeks after you have written your tests. View the schedule here.

LOGIN TO YOUR ACCOUNT:

To log in to your account: Your username is your ID number and your password is the one you created when you registered. If you have forgotten your password, use the password reminder link on the login page.

“MY RESULTS AREN’T AVAILABLE”:

Your results will not be accessible if there is an outstanding balance on your account. If you have an outstanding balance, it means that an earlier test was booked, but not paid for. Unless an emergency prevented you from writing that test, you will have to pay for it in order to view your results.

RESULTS SENT TO UNIVERSITIES:

Your results are made available to any institution to which you have applied approximately three weeks after you have written your tests.
There is no need to send your results to institutions. Institutions to which you have applied will request your results from us.
