Wits Residence, At Wits, our residences are LIVING and LEARNING centres. We offer a wide variety of residence accommodation, ranging from single-gender residences, catering residence, to mixed-gender residences.
Campus Housing and Residence Life, is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the University’s residence programme, including accommodation and meals, and the provision of recreational facilities and programmes for the improved academic performance and the holistic development of students within a residential environment.

New 1st Year Residence Students
All first time first year students making use of the Wits Residences are required to register with the Residence Office on Saturday 26 January between 09h00 and 15h00.
Residence registration will take place at Flower Hall (the same venue as registration as a student). Students will be escorted directly from Flower Hall to their residence on the day. You must already have enrolled at the University as a student in order to register with residence. For any queries please contact the Central Accommodation Office.
