I found the experience as panellist highly stimulating and rewarding. The presentations showcased the young talents from across our organization, many whom I have never met, working together in diverse and cross-functional teams, on topics completely outside of their areas of expertise. It was particularly rewarding to see the energy, bright ideas, and passion for helping to move the organization forward. The ideas were all excellent, some “low hanging fruit” that could be implemented immediately, others forcing us to confront the future and reflecting on our strategy. I am confident that this exercise will lead to real change in our organization, at operational, strategic and cultural levels
– Jaco Smit, Executive Director
An Action Learning Project as an assessment is a better way for assessing group work. It gets people to work together and appeals to the groups strengths when preparing for syndicate presentations. The work presented by the syndicates was fascinating with absolutely ground-breaking ideas, which provides a richness to the organisation.
