This page contains all the details about the courses which are available and offered in the school. Application procedures are also available to all persons with an interest in applying for admission for this academic year as well as the location of all the various campuses. Courses

The NC(V) Level 4 qualification can be described as equivalent to a Technical Grade 12. Students can either start working after completion of all the levels due to the practical component brought into this qualification, or continue to report 191 or to University.

In order to obtain a National Certificate (Vocational), a student is required to take a total of Seven (7) subjects per level. These include three (3) fundamental subjects and four (4) vocational subjects. A student will qualify for a National Certificate (Vocational) from Umalusi after completion of all the levels, and passing all 21 subjects. The department of Higher Education & Training has a bursary scheme (NSFAS) for students who are enrolled for a full course in either NC(V) or Report 191, whose applications meet the requirements.

HOW TO APPLY

Step 1:  Get your application form at the campus and submit it while there. 

Step 2:  Complete your application form in full and return it to the campus. Ensure that you submit your form BEFORE THE CLOSING DATE and provide ALL requested supporting documentation.

Step 3:  Attach all supporting documents.

For your application and registration you will need the following documents: 

  • Original or a certified copy of your ID.
  • Original or a certified copy of your latest school report/qualification.

Step 4:  Find Funding.

Qualifying applications will then be submitted to the TVET College Bursary Committee for consideration. Bursaries will be awarded based on financial need and academic performance.
