University Of Mpumalanga Graduation, The University of Mpumalanga will host a graduation ceremony on Saturday. The students will be capped by President Cyril Ramaphosa and the university’s first chancellor.
The ceremony is a significant measure of whether the university is progressing academically with regard to carrying out its mandate of research, teaching and community engagement.
As part of contributing to South Africa’s growing economy through skilled workforce, the University of Mpumalanga will confer 237 qualifications.
According to the university’s vice-chancellor, Thoko Mayekiso, the ceremony will honour graduates in various academic programmes.
“We congratulate all our students for reaching such an important milestone in their academic development,” said Mayekiso.
The students will graduate in the following fields: advanced diploma in agriculture, bachelor of agriculture, bachelor of education in foundation phase teaching, diploma in agriculture, diploma in hospitality management and diploma in information communication technology.
