St Catherine’s Pre-School offers a warm, caring environment in which we bring God’s love into teaching.

The Senior Phase of St Catherine’s School takes pupils on a journey towards being independent-thinking, young adults.

Subject

Languages:
  • The medium of instruction is English Home Language.
  • All pupils are required to choose between Afrikaans First Additional Language and isiZulu
Life Orientation:

This is a compulsory subject which incorporates Guidance, Physical Education and Religious Education

Mathematics
  • Grade 8 and 9 pupils all take Mathematics.
  • At the end of Grade 9 pupils must achieve a minimum of 50% to select Mathematics as a subject for Grade 10 – 12.
  • Grade 9 – 11 pupils who achieve below 50% for Mathematics are required to take Mathematical Literacy the following year.

St Catherine’s School Admission Process

  2. The Admissions Secretary will send you the necessary documentation required
  3. Submit application form together with proof of payment of the R200-00 application fee
  4. Await the assessment date from the Admissions Secretary
  5. Pupil is assessed
  6. Results of assessment are communicated
  7. Additional documentation will be sent for completion
  8. Confirm acceptance by submitting documentation and paying the non-refundable deposit of R5000-00
