The Roots health center was founded by Dr. Thabang Molefi, a qualified Ethno medical practitioner in 2002, with iridology (study of the iris of the eye in order to examine disorders in the body) as the primary service. It has since grown to incorporate other forms of examinations such as blood analysis and the establishment of a team of Ethno Medical Practitioners. The company uses botanically approved complementary medicinal herbs that are registered under the medicines control council.
