RETURNING STUDENT GUIDE TO A HASSLE-FREE REGISTRATION – 2025

Rhodes University is a small residential University in a small town, which is characterized by a reciprocal symbiotic relationship with its surrounding community. This compels the institution to be socially aware and to respond responsibly to local contexts. In the light of the Covid-19 pandemic and the second surge, with further restrictions as recently announced by the President, we cannot confirm whether we will return to face-to-face teaching and learning and it may be that lectures will be online for a further period.  We continue to monitor the situation.  The principles that guide all University decisions are saving lives and the health and safety of all.

Administrative registration and curriculum approval (subject choices) will continue online and students are urged to ensure that they are familiar with the changes and various deadlines to ensure smooth re-registration.
