The MBA is designed to equip practicing and potential managers to assist in the creation, development, and leadership of successful organizations in a competitive business environment.

Rhodes Business School (RBS) MBA Application Requirements

Applicants should normally:

• Have an NQF8 or equivalent qualification. This is an honours degree (e.g.  BCom(Hons) or BSc (Hons)), a Postgraduate Diploma (e.g. Certificate in the Theory of Accounting or Postgraduate Diploma in Enterprise Management) or
• A FOUR year bachelor’s degree (e.g. B Bus Sci or B Eng).
• All applicants are required to sit the NMAT test https://www.nmat.org/ 
• Have a minimum of three year’s full-time relevant practical business and/or organisational experience.
• Be proficient in English
• Have obtained a pass in Mathematics in Senior Certificate examination or equivalent

You do not need a first degree in business, accounting or economics in order to apply. We welcome applications from graduates in any field (e.g. engineering, arts, science, law etc.)

Fees

The course fees for 2021 have been confirmed as follows:

Part-time Students

Registered in 2021: R65,073

Full-time Students

Registered in 2021: R130,147

PAYMENT OPTIONS

Option 1

10% of year’s fees payable before the end of the previous year. 

40% of the year’s fees payable before the programme commences.

50% of the year’s fees payable before 1 May.

Option 2

10% of year’s fees payable before the end of the previous year. 

90% of the year’s fees payable before the programme commences.

*This option qualifies one for a 3% discount. 

Option 3

10% of year’s fees payable before the end of the previous year. 

The balance of the fees is settled with a monthly debit order commencing 1 February. The debit order must be approved by 15 December. The debit order instruction form is available on the University Fees Office website Rhodes University’s Fees payment
