The average 18 year old beginner driver requires approximately 20 to 40 hours of training.

This number could be less or it could be more, depending on the individual’s ability to learn a new skill, progress during training, level of focus during lessons, practicing and spending time behind the wheel between lessons, prior driving experience, age, confidence level, etc.

Students who want to use their own vehicle for training must meet their instructor at the training yard in Randburg for all of their lessons.

Student must meet the instructor half an hour (30 minutes) before their test time at Randburg testing station and arrange their own transportation to and from the testing station.
