Michaelhouse School Admission Policy
Michaelhouse is non-sectarian in its admission policy. Entry in E Block (Grade 8) level is determined by previous academic performance, a personal interview with the Rector or a Deputy Rector, a copy of the most recent school report and a confidential report from the applicant’s Headmaster.

Boys are admitted to D and C Blocks (Grades 9 and 10) only if a place becomes available. Entry is determined by previous academic performance, a personal interview with the Rector, a copy of the most recent school report and a confidential report from the applicant’s Headmaster.
Michaelhouse School Registration
All registrations for possible entry into Michaelhouse in 2029 and beyond will not attract the R950.00 registration fee. Applications received after 28 February 2021 for Grade 8 2023 will be placed on our wait list. No application will be processed without proof of payment.
