WHAT ARE NECESSARY REQUIREMENTS FOR REGISTRATION?
Please note that the following are available on registration:

  • A certified copy of identity documents
  • A certified copy of the latest school report/ senior certificate or latest results
  • Study permit for international students. 

FEES
Fees will be obtained on request from campuses or the Registrations department at the Administration Centre.
EXAMINATIONS
Only learners who have registered for Full-time and part-time programmes and who have complied with the admission requirements and have conducted all formative assessments task will be allowed to enter for the examinations 
LECTURING HOURS
Monday to Thursday: 8:00-15:30
Fridays: 8:00-14:30
PART TIME COURSES AND SKILLS PROGRAMMES
We only offer part time courses that are justified by student numbers (minimum number: 15) e.g

FULL TIME COURSES
REPORT 191 PROGRAMMES
BUSINESS STUDIES: N4- N6
Requirements for N4: Grade 12. Each subject covers a period of six months ( January – June or July – November). Four subjects must be taken for each course. Students who pass N4, N5 and N6 will be issued with certificate in specific field of study. After completing N6 and 18 Months relevant practical experience a National N- Diploma will be Issued.
Please note that the college reserves the right to offer courses which are justified by student numbers.
ENGINEERING STUDIES
These are trimester courses which have an intake 3 times a year, namely January, May and September.
Ingwe public FET College provides for the Following:

  • Theoretical training for persons who want to obtain an N3 certificate.
  • Theoretical and practical training for tradesmen, technicians, and assistant engineers in the industry to further their knowledge and qualifications.

Admission requirements: grade 12 with mathematics and Science/ Technical subject’s school report.

  • Electrical Engineering

These courses are offered at Ngqungqushe campus.

NATIONAL SENIOR CERTIFICATE

The Senior Certificate course is for learners who wish to improve their qualifications and who want to obtain a Matric certificate. NSC certificate is offered for six months and is equivalent to grade 12.
National Certificate is only offered at Maluti and Ngqungqushe campuses.
NATIONAL CERTIFICATE VOCATIONAL (NCV)
National Certificate vocational is a new qualification at each of levels, L2, L3 and L4 of NQF. This qualification is designed to provide both theory and practical component of study may environment, it will provide students with an opportunity to experience work situations during the period of study.
For entry into the National Certificate you require:

  • A year end school report for grade 9 or higher
  • An NQF Level 1 qualification
  • An approved bridging programme.
