As a leading independent school provider, our enhanced curriculum empowers learners with 21st-century skills necessary for them to become intellectual and socially responsible adults who can take on the future with confidence.

Learners are taught in small class sizes, often use tablets in class, and write the NSC or IEB exams at the end of Grade 12. We also aim to provide the most affordable school fees possible without compromising our high academic standards.

Cooper College Curriculum

  • At Curro, we provide quality education in a manner that provides our learners with the best possible academics while supporting their development into well-rounded citizens. Through specialised subjects and an enhanced curriculum, our schools prepare learners for various end-of-school examination options.

IEB (Independent Examinations Board)

  • Curro Schools and several Curro Select schools offer an enhanced curriculum that prepares learners to write the IEB examination at the end of Grade 12, in accordance with legislation and Umalusi directives. While Curro learners still follow the CAPS curriculum, they are prepared for the more challenging questioning method of the IEB examinations, which uniquely prepares learners for the difficulty level of tertiary-education institutions.

NSC (National Senior Certificate)

  • Curro Academy schools and Meridian schools prepare learners for the NSC examinations at the end of Grade 12, with quality education. Our enhanced curriculum approach provides Curro learners with a head start in life by exposing them to technology in the classroom and specialised subjects such as Information Technology.

NCV (National Certificate Vocational)

  • Curro’s private college campuses offer a career-focused matric alternative to learners with a Grade 9 pass. NCV programmes allow learners to specialise in their chosen field from a young age. Instead of Grades 10, 11 and 12, learners complete NCV Level 2, Level 3 and Level 4, and receive an accredited certificate upon completion of each level. These programmes provide learners with quality education as well as workplace-ready skills.

Cambridge Assessment International Education

  • As a Curro Select school, Cooper College offers the Cambridge Assessment International Education curriculum. Windhoek Gymnasium in Namibia prepares learners for the Namibian Senior Secondary Certificate (AS level), which is under-scribed by Cambridge
