UNIVEN Criminal Justice, The Department of Criminal Justice is one of the six departments within the School of Law. The department offers a three years BA CRM undergraduate degree and two post-graduate degrees, namely, the BAHCRM Honours and MA CRM.
The department has two major subjects – Criminology and Policing – which are offered from the first year up to final year. These courses combine theory with practice and this enables students to have a seamless entry into the workplace.
The department prepares students to be knowledgeable in the field of investigations (e.g. IPID, SIU) correctional services, and prosecutorial services. The department comprises of four staff members responsible for teaching and supervision of students. The department is currently partaking in community empowerment outreach organized by the Department of Safety and Security.
