University Of Western Cape International Office, We are committed to promoting and supporting the establishment of international relations for the university. IRO aims to provide a liaison and facilitation service for advancing strategic partnerships. 

Part of our focus is on promoting capacity building opportunities through international mobility for staff and students. We can be consulted on establishing international partnerships and connecting with networks and mobility opportunities for staff and students. 

The IRO facilitates programmes for institutional visits from partners and potential collaborators. We represent UWC on platforms such as ISSO ; IEASA; EAIE ; NAFSA ; SANORD ; NOHA ; GOLDEN KEY; The Missouri System and others. 

We have a study abroad and student exchange coordinator who works very closely with Faculties and Student Administration including its International Student Services Office.
